174. That's the total number of days Ethan spent in the hospital before coming home on December 31st. Add to that the 9 days he spent during the spring back in the hospital and your answer should naturally come to July 2nd.

On July 2nd, we marked a special milestone as that was the day that put him over...he has now spent more time at home than in the hospital, just 8 days short of his first birthday.
And we're still grateful to everyone who has helped us see them to their first taste of coconut cake!
