Milestones

Long time, no post! It's been busy as usual around here. I am not particularly loving this back to school transition, and I'm guessing that Chris is not either! I was so spoiled for the summer to have him home.

In any case, Ethan has been very busy meeting milestones. He can now sit on his own, yeah!! Somewhere around Aug 2nd he went from a few seconds to really being able to sit. Very exciting stuff. He is using his legs and bouncing a bit now too, so that is wonderful as well. Last night I was putting Ali to bed and Chris popped his head in and whispered, "Ethan rolled over". Holy cow, how am I supped to keep quietly nursing after that? Apparently Ethan wedged his foot between the bars of his crib and flipped himself back to front. All the way over this time! He wasn't all that happy about the achievement. All of that core work in PT must be paying off.

Allison is nudging ever forward towards walking. She is getting good at walking while barely holding on to your fingers. We even walked outside to get the mail today. Ah, I have so much baby proofing to do!
