Just a quick update to let you know that Ethan is ok. Unfortunately we don't know much more than when we started the day. As he was sitting on the table at radiology getting ready for the contrast dye so they could take a look and see what was going on in there, his buttoned loosened up again. Seriously? 1 minute before the test to see why it was pulled so tight?? His button seems to be going in and out. Pulled taught and then loosening, perhaps with a twisting of his stomach. No one in town has ever heard of this, so doc is calling the GI surgeon from UIHC to see if we can get any more info. Ethan, of course, has to be a trailblazer!
We will keep you posted. For now, we wait for news from the UI and watch for the button to pull in again. If it does, we make a quick trip straight to radiology to check it out. Sigh. It's always something.
