Ethan's co2 was 58 today!!!!!!! Yahoo! No more theophylline. Albuterol only 2x a day. Less lasix. Less Potassium. We celebrate every time any of the meds are gone.
His weight was up only 1 oz to 11 lb 11 oz. Not a lot, but it's the right direction. Allison was 17 lbs 4 oz. Both of them got shots today, so it's been a fussy afternoon.
We are incredibly tired. Nothing like having a new baby waking up in the wee hours after the adrenaline of the new baby has worn off. But, life is getting a little easier. Thank you, thank you again to everyone who has come over to help us out!!! Georgia is here all this week, so that is wonderful. Anyone want to come over and play on Monday, Tues, Wed, or Fri next week?
Ethan seems to be getting into a little bit more of a routine. He is taking better naps, and is a little less fussy during feedings. Changing to the evenflo bottles seems to have helped a bit with that. Hopefully we keep on the right track.
All great news! I am so happy for you guys that things might be settling some.

ReplyDeleteWe're kinda busy here fighting with idiot doctors, etc., but sure wish we could help. Moved Mom to nursing home today.
ReplyDeleteWish we lived closer!! Babies are more fun to wrangle than attorneys and hospitals, just a bit louder and dirtier at times, but oh so much more huggable and kissable.
