Cold Milk Before Bed?

After fighting with Ethan for an hour I finally got 110 ml in him (almost 4 oz). The last 40 were spent standing on the stairs looking at family photos... Then we migrated to the kitchen (where Chris was watching basketball...) and Ethan started smacking. I pulled a bit of milk out of the fridge and figured, what the heck. He sucked it down, along with another ounce! An hour later he took another cold oz before falling asleep. His best/calmest bottle ever. If THIS is the answer to Ethan's eating woes I will jump for joy! Looking back I can remember a few other times when I didn't get the milk very warm and he ate pretty well. Who knows, I just hope it wasn't a fluke!

My son would not take warm milk...he only wanted it cold from the fridge! I think you found your solution!!!

  3. Izzie would never take warm formula, of course she was never breast fed so I always gave it to her at room temp, but when I would warm the premixed stuff after it was in the fridge she wouldn't touch it. He's just trying to make life easier on you, no more warming a few ounces at a time! :)
