Surgery went well

The doctor just came out and told us that surgery went well. They made a planned decision to leave him on the ventilator so they can let him recover more slowly. Ethan will spend the night in the PICU, pediatric intensive care. I'm glad to have at least one night in the hospital so we can make sure he is stable and Chris and I can learn how to care for his needs.

    I'm so glad to hear that things went well! You guys are such troopers. I think of you guys every time I drive by 42st Street, which is turning out to be pretty darn often!
