Ethan has been such a good boy today! He seems much more comfortable today and he hasn't scared mommy and daddy with his low blood oxygen levels that set off the nasty beeps and alarms. He still does best with very low stimulation (dark, quiet, swaddled, and left alone), but he is tolerating care better today. Last night Chris and I made the mistake of being in the room when they needed to change the placement of Ethan's ventilator tube. That was not so much fun to watch. The good news is that Dr. Nordine was there and reassured us that our little guy is acting just as he would expect a little guy post PDA surgery to act. He and Dr. Rosenblum have both taken care of lots of babies like Ethan, so that is very comforting.

Allison is doing quite well with her feedings. She is still only allowed to try breastfeeding once per shift (7-7 shifts) so she doesn't expend too much energy. She's getting cuter by the day, but then I guess I'm biased. :)
