Great Grandma Cramer met all of her great grandchildren today. She is moving from Kansas City to Sparta, WI to live with my mom. On their way they stopped in CR to meet Allison and Ethan. Gerhardt & Carmen came up with Anneliese, so the cousins met as well. We took a picture which I will have to post later.
We had good timing today at the nicu. We were visiting Ethan after everyone left and Dr. Barden came in. We weren't expecting him back until Tuesday. He didn't really have much to say (we're really just waiting now), but it was nice to have his 'blessing' so to speak for Ethan's next adventure. He wished us well and said that he'd likely see us back soon.
We are really hoping that we will get some answers, and some improvements, at the U. Hopefully we will be back soon. It's been far too long of a stay in the hospital. We have quite a lot of stuff to collect from Ethan's room. It is really sad to think about taking down all the pictures and cards and all of our stuff.
On a happier note, Alli has been pretty consistently sleeping 5-5.5 hours at night! The only problem is that it usually starts between 7:30-8:30 pm. Then I'm up with her every couple of hours after that. :( Actually last night I tried putting another layer on her when she woke up after her 5 hours. She slept about 4 more hours that time. Yeah! I guess maybe she was cold. I suppose it's always a bit of a guessing game with babies.
Tomorrow my friend Jenni is coming to take 3 month pictures of the kids. That should be exciting. We're looking forward to it!
