Waiting...

Ethan's bronchoscopy is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:15 am. He's comfy just hanging out waiting at the moment. Chris got them to put him up on his boppy pillow in bed tonight. I'm sure he's going to be surprising everyone in Bay 1 with that one! Ethan seems to like to break all of the rules. We're slowing trying to adjust to all of the new rules at UIHC. We were accustomed to holding Ethan when he's eating. At the U that's against the rules. Hopefully we'll be able to get around that one somehow. He's finally got them trained to turn the darn warmer bed off. Poor guy is drowning in his own sweat I think.

We're starting the process of applying for SSI/Title 19 for Ethan. Hopefully he won't need it, but if he needs therapies in the future the ill and handicapped waiver would help cover it.

Other than that, we're just trying to figure out how to make it work with Alli here, Ethan there, and Chris working. If I go during the day and Chris after school, then we'd go broke paying for gas and parking for two cars every day. Not to mention Chris would never see Alli and we would not see each other. But if we go together after school, then Ethan doesn't see us all day and it's a really late bed time for Alli. We have had many people volunteer to watch Allison, including St. Luke's nurses (God bless them!), so we may mix it up and try different things. This scheduling thing is the hardest part for us right now. Hopefully we'll just get to come back home soon. Scary that I'm actually thinking about St. Lukes when I mention home... One day he really will get to come home home...
