Vapotherm of 1.5

Updates from today:

Ethan's weight was up a little today, 10 lb 11.3oz.

Yesterday he took 540 cc orally. Only 1 ng feeding. Next week we're going to try breastfeeding. We're going to start just with the shield and see how he does.

co2 was 86. Same as the other day, so that seems to be holding steady.

Increased feeding amount a little today. That should make him happy. :)

Saturday reduce to 2 mg steroid (instead of 4), Sunday 12 mg. The goal is to get back to every other day steroids.

Today he's going down to 1.5 on vapotherm. We'll stay a few days here and then try 1. If the machine makes too much condensation then we'll just try regular cannula.

Home O2 (they keep saying this "H" word...) doesn't have a blender, it's all 100%. We'll manage how much he gets by litres of flow. We'll switch to that mode before going to that "H" place. :)

I would like to sit down with the doctor or whomever and see if we can get a picture of what this is all going to look like later. What do we need to prepare ourselves for? Obviously there will be oxygen, but what else? How will we manage medications? How often will he see the doctor?
