Well, there is not much to report today. Ethan is holding steady on his cpap. His oxygen needs have gone down a little, so that is a little step in the right direction. He had an extra dose of the diuretic Lasix to help shed the excess fluid in his lungs. It seems to have helped, because his breathing was more relaxed today and his chest xray looked good. We are just focusing on holding him as our major goal when we go to the hospital. In case we haven't said lately, it looks like we'll be at least another couple of weeks in the nicu.
Alli is doing really well. She is gaining weight and eating like crazy. The nightly congestion is getting old, but the nurses tell me it is very, very normal.
It's time for me to run to bed while daddy gives the evening bottle. Hopefully I can get a few extra winks!
