Yesterday marked the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics. Perhaps this photo marks the opening ceremony of the Klostermann Twin Olympics! (I bet for just a moment you thought that might have come from Chris, but I wrote that all by myself.) Believe it or not today was the first time that we, well Chris, held both twins at the same time. Juggling two floppy heads is definitely nothing short of an Olympic event! It was a proud one nonetheless.
Allison had a fussy night last night. She was really congested and had trouble breathing (and therefore eating) because of it. That made for a frustrating night for both of us. After a middle of the night call to the doctor just to make sure (Don't all new mom's have to do this at some point?) some simple saline drops did the trick. Will there be a day when I am not obsessed with open airways and blood oxygen levels?? Maybe by the time they go off to college? :)
Ethan seems to be having a good day today. They have turned his oxygen support down to 33% from yesterday's 45%, so that is a good thing. In fact, there is a dinger going off right now because his oxygen saturation is too high at 100%. If it's not one buzzer, it's another!
