Time flies when you are traveling between home and the NICU. We're trying to balance spending some time at home with Alli and spending time at the hospital with Ethan. It was nice to go home early last night and have a morning at home today. Chris and I went for a walk this morning with Alli in the Moby carrier. It was awesome to go for a decent walk, but we were hot!
Ethan made it about half a day on the VapoTherm, and then went back to the CPAP. They did an xray and his lungs were not well enough expanded and he was working a bit too fast. So, at this point he's just more comfortable on the cpap. The doctors and nurses continue to assure us that he is doing well and just needs more time to grow his lungs. He loves his food and gets mad (desats) if his food is late! We still don't have any real idea how much longer it will be, but at least several more weeks.
Gerhardt, Carmen and Anne are here visiting today. Alli looks sooooo tiny next to Anne. :)
